About both Cameras
Canon has rebuilt the tripod socket to give their user more stability and more efficient controlling power; motorized mirror mechanism has been installed. The user can shoot video of its desire frame rates on both models. No headphone plug-in socket and HDMI is given.
In my point of view, both cameras are good in capturing photos of your desire quality, but they are not best for the video shooting if it is your major concern.
