So here we are with the 2nd episode of Coke Studio Season 10. In second episode there were Ali Zafar, Qurat-Ul-Ain Baloch, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Hamza, Ali Noor, Salman Ahmed and rising new stars Ali Sethi, Jaffar Zaidi and Waqar Ehsan. A very strong line-up. As last week the first episode completely flopped and everyone’s eye was on the second episode. Coke Studio Season 10 idea is that they will feature a tribute song in each episode. In Second episode Ali Zafar gave tribute to renowned music composer Master Inayat Hussain.
SONG: Tinak Dhin
By – Ali Hamza, Ali Sethi & Waqar Ehsin
Tinak Dhin song has pretty different steps it has the taste of pop and classical also the song is performed by three unique voices Ali Sethi, Ali Hamza & Waqar Ehsin did a fair job. The musician’s hats off to them they were amazing. Waqar Ehsin was looking little down as most of the times he looks like, Ali Sethi no doubt he was enjoying the song fully which is a good sign and Ali Hamza was doing his best to touch that line to impress the fans. In my point of view, they performed better than the singers performed in the first episode. I am not comparing any singer my point is to describe the song perfection and these three have done a good job. You will enjoy it. But this performance was not of Coke Studio Level if compared to the last season performances.
By – Junoon Feat Rahat Fateh Ali Khan &Ali Noor
The remarkable song of 90’s is back but what is going man, Coke Studio is going on a wrong track they have disappointed every single fan. Sayonee was released in 1997 and when you listen to it your soul enjoys every beat. What the hell is that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan the legend what he is doing, also Ali Noor experienced man no sir you both disappointed. Music was also not perfect Salman Ahmad you were the founder of Junoon the part of this remarkable song in 1997 what you did man, you completely changed the tone and it hurts when you listen to it, bad composition. I must say Coke Studio you have made a very bad impression with this song. Singers were delaying too much and the music after the half interval wtf too bad. Completely disappointment for everyone what you should I say better than this that Coke Studio didn’t respect the feelings of this memorable song.
The hype of this song is a benchmark you can’t reach and when it comes back to Coke Studio which is so-called the biggest musical platform Pakistan has, this song has an organic feel. Also, this is the “20th Anniversary of the Song Sayonee”. We can say that they are the newbies LOL, Again see the names Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Noor and the founder of Junoon band and this song Sayonee. I must say Coke Studio has completely broken the heart of millions of fan of this song around the world.
By – Kaavish & Quratulain Balouch
Now that is a good song to listen after a whole week. Kaavish mature voice added a good texture from the start and QB’s voice OMG she is amazing with a unique voice in the music industry she had done the fabulous job. Although they both taken the song in a constant manner there were no up & downs they tried to reach. They make it simple and done a good job. The music was soft good to listen. There were some times before interval when Kaavish was gone out of track but after the interval, he came back well and ended with a good turn. So Faasle overall it’s a good to listen you guys will enjoy it too. So go for it.
By – Ali Zafar
Ali Zafar has sung a tribute song for Master Inayat Hussain who is the original composer of the Music, Jane-e-Bahaaraan lyrics were written by Tanveer Naqvi at that time. Master Inayat was Passed away in 1993. Ali Zafar sang it thoroughly in its simple style. Keeping his voice on one track, the question is why he didn’t pick that texture which was in Master Inayat’s composition. He was completely going to get it finish that’s all “Ali you are experienced singer you have to pick that song which completely mixes up on you. Also, the get up was not so cool. At the end, you added some moves in it that were good but the song was overall completely simple no feels no any addiction. I will not criticize more because its Master Inayat Hussain Legends Composition who done it fabulously but Ali you were not sincere with the song.
So here I described the whole scenario which took place in Coke Studio Season 10 Episode 2. I hope you will notice all these above actions when you listen to the songs. There is nothing personal, Team World Raters Aim is to give the perfect reasons what is good what is bad. So today’s Review is ended. We are still hoping to listen to something good from the Coke House. Share your reviews in comments and for queries message us. Don’t forget to follow us. Astala Wista Guys!!
